Disney+ spells trouble for Netflix. As user Ken b4 business writes:When analysts avoid noting the obvious, it makes me wonder why. Disney can afford to roll out its Streaming services taking a loss. Netflix cannot afford to take a loss because Streaming is essentially all it does. Disney has ten times the content that Netflix does. This goes for old content, or the ability to create new content with well known and beloved productions. The argument that Netflix is making new content and Disney doesn't know how to is mind boggling, those who make such an argument are are either ignorant, or deliberately deceptive... no one is making more content right now than Disney. Period. And those who argue that Disney is 'kid content' only, are also pushing a faulty argument (at best). Yes Disney owns a lot of 'kid content' which is a huge selling point IMO, but they also own a lot of 'mature' material as well, this is what purchasing Fox helped bring them, lots of 'mature' non-kid content.....
