Futures higher this morning. Shades are ready! Crude and Gold both down slightly. Bitcoin up a touch but still hovering in No-Man's Land of $9,000. No boost this week from President Xi, so it appears. Ford is transposing its Mustang name on to its new electric sport utility vehicle, which up until now referred to a line of sporty coupes associated with the 1960s muscle car era. The Mustang Mach-E will debut at an event in Los Angeles on Sunday and is the first of more than a dozen all-electric automobiles Ford plans to launch by 2022. Competition in the EV market is a good thing. $F is worth looking closely at, IMO. Long $F. Tesla's Model 3 and Model S have regained a recommendation from Consumer Reports after their scores got a boost from the latest reliability survey of current owners. Tesla is now ranked 23rd out of 30, moving up from 27th out of 30 in reliability survey. I guess moving up 4 spots is a "boost." Consumer Reports is still not recommending the Model X due to gripes about malfunctioning doors, noises and leaks. Yikes. Malfunctioning doors, noises, and leaks? Sounds like Tesla has some work to do with reliability. 22 vehicles ahead of them and not one of them gets a mention. Seems about right. Waiting for more "news" about Gigafactory 4 in Berlin to help shift focus away from this latest negativity. Cake in the Break Room and chants of "We're 23rd! We're 23rd!" have been heard in Gigafactories around the world. No WeWork news today. Thank you. RH is up 6.65% in AH trading after Berkshire Hathaway discloses holding a stake in the retailer. Amazing that Berkshire Hathaway didn't disclose a deal to buy PG&E, which was pitched to them by the Governor of California. Speaking of PG&E, where is the daily update? Merck's Animal Health unit announces that the FDA has approved Bravecto Plus (fluralaner and moxidectin), an extended-duration topical solution for internal and external parasite infections (ticks, fleas, heartworm, intestinal roundworm, hookworm). The company says the product provides protection for up to two months per application. Just wanted to get this out there in case anyone is investing or trading in Merck based on its topical solutions for cats. My Bengal cats, Milo and Mia, are excited about the news! - notes via user dcv.
